Due to adoptions being harder to do, we have decided to broaden our scope. Previously we shied away from out-of-state adopters. Now we are willing to cross state lines but we still will strive to stay close geographically to California. We are also looking to network with rescuers in other states. Our goal is to find forever homes for these animals in need. Also after a long absence we are hoping to be able to pull again from our local shelter. This would only be for rescuers wanting dogs from our area which is inundated. There are also numerous animals from our local community that are in need of being rescued so they don't end up at our local shelter. So we want to reach out and partner in order to save lives.
High Desert Angels for Animals is a 501C3 federal non-profit corporation. We are a California non-profit as well. We are also a licensed Los Angeles County Dept. of Animal Care and Control kennel. So after we place our dogs we hope to just send canines out-of-California. We look forward to meeting and working with new groups that are helping in the cause of saving the California dogs in need.
